History
Richport Ford first opened its doors in Richmond in 1972 under the direction of Mr. William (Bill) Hanbury. Our original location was on No.3 Road and Ackroyd. In 1985, we moved to the newly-built Richmond Auto Mall under owner Ken Griffith. In 1998, Richport Ford and Signature Lincoln Mercury merged to form Richport Ford Lincoln, under a partnership between Ken Griffith and Grant Hanbury.
As of September 2012, we have once again become Richport Ford Ltd.. We have been in the Richmond community for over 40 years and continue to serve the communities of Richmond, Ladner, and Tsawwassen. In 2011, we received Ford of Canada’s most prestigious dealer award, The President’s Award, which is awarded to the top dealerships in the country for customer experience.
